April 1, 2022
The first full week of June sees plenty of competition across several of the top Esports Leagues around the world, headlined by matches in League of Legends and CS:GO.
LOL LPL Summer
The opening day of matches in LPL Summer kicks off Monday’s action with the likes of Ninjas in Pyjamas, LGD Gaming, TT Gaming Anyone’s Legend, Team We, Ultra Prime and Top Esports all having matches.
It will be a big day as NIP has two big matches to be ready for. TT Gaming and Team We look like teams that could pick up big wins in their matches, while LGD Gaming looks like a strong fancy at 4/6 to take down NIP in a +1.5-point spread.
It was a crazy first week of matches last week with 17 teams in the field and things could really start to shake up in one of the best leagues in LOL.
More LOL action in China and Oceania
The summer action across the different regions of League of Legends will continue headlines throughout the week.
There are two big clashes on Tuesday in LPL as Team We will try to get over Ultra Prime, while Ninjas in Pyjamas take on Top Esports.
Those are not the only matches on the schedule for Tuesday as the LCO is also in action with two matches in that division. Pentanet.GG takes on Mammoth, while Kanga face Ground Zero.
The Oceania division of LOL hasn’t really made an impact at the World Stage as they don’t quite have the same level of talent as the likes of the LPL or LCK. However, both these matches will be worth keeping an eye on.
LCK Summer and CS:GO BLAST Premier headline busy day
Wednesday will be a busy day in Esports as the LCK Summer event has matches on their schedule.
They will feature two clashes, one with KT Rolster taking on Hanwha Life Esports. The second pits Dplus KIA against Liiv Sandbox.
Looking at CS:GO BLAST Premier Spring Final, all the big hitters will be squaring off.
A match-up between Vitality and Imperial Esports intrigues, while G2 and Cloud9 have a grudge match ahead of them, as both have been contenders in this event in the past.
Heroic draws Complexity where it's hard to tell which team has an advantage.
The final match of the day sees FaZe Clan take on Astralis and FaZe will be a good bet not only to win the match at 8/15, but also to win the event outright.
BLAST Premier Spring Final playoffs continue
The second day of action in the BLAST Premier Spring Final sees plenty of high-firing action.
A possible Vitality-G2 match-up and a potential Heroic vs FaZe Clan clash will be must-see.
It’s play-off time and a lot is on the line for all of the teams involved.
BLAST Premier Spring Final on the schedule
The quarter-final round of BLAST Premier Spring Final will be set and whichever teams are left standing have a great shot to win the whole event, which has some of the best CS:GO teams in the world involved.
MOUZ has already locked up a spot in the second to last day of the Elisa Invitational Spring and they await the winner of 500 vs HAVU.
Whichever team gets through all but has a shot to reach Saturday’s Grand Final match.
Everything is heating up in June across the CS:GO Platform as teams all prepare for the upcoming IEM Cologne 2023 in July.
MOUZ is fresh-off a runner-up finish at IEM Dallas 2023 and could be in for a huge summer.
VALORANT VCT Masters
There will be only one big match on Saturday’s slate at VALORANT VCT Masters as FUT Esports takes on Evil Geniuses.
This should be a good match-up between the teams as both have shown promise.
EG might not be the favourite coming in at 5/4, but they definitely have a chance to pull off an upset win.
If they get through that match-up, they could be in for a big second half of the 2023 campaign in VALORANT.
All about VCT Masters powerhouses
DRX, T1 and Edward Gaming look to flex some muscle in VCT Masters and they all have a shot.
Edward Gaming and T1 might wear each other out as they clash on Sunday.
Attacking Soul has a rough match ahead as they take on DRX, who are arguably the best team in VALORANT. DRX is a heavy favourite and should easily win this match-up.
The final match of the day pits NRG against Natus Vincere. Natus is well known for its feats in CS:GO, but VALORANT is a whole different animal.
The Ukrainian organization is the favourite here at 8/11, but NRG is a value bet at 1/1 to pull off a win.
